Maggie

This post is way overdue. Our sweet Maggie turned 6 on March 10th. She is 6 years old!! This birthday was extra special. She had a party at the Glass Slipper, a tea house in Powell, complete with dress up clothes, games, tea and sandwiches. To say she was pleased would be an understatement. One of her greatest gifts is living in the moment. She enjoys things and appreciates them more than any child I know. She takes it all in and becomes enthralled with her experience. Her face said everything. She was thrilled. I had to hold back tears because it was a gift to make her so happy but also because she is so grown up. This has been Maggie's shift year. Kindergarten got off to a very rough start but now all of the sudden I see my little girl blossoming into a little lady. She is gentle, kind, extremely feminine, fragile and joyful. She loves her siblings and friends with her whole heart and want to be with them at all times. She has become the peacemaker in our home and accommodates those around her, because she wants to. She is precious and we love her so much!!!! Happy birthday Mags! Thank you for reminding us daily of the world around us, and helping us appreciate the beauty in a flower, coloring, or even princess peach.
